Right on! This has got to be the supidest thing of all time. If I turn my radio off I want it OFF when I turn my car back on. Why can't BMW fix this? I hope it's not a FEATURE or a bug in Windows CE - nice OS for iDrive? ![Wacko](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/wacko.gif)

I don't think it's a bug. I think it's set this way because most ppl want the radio on when they drive. But if it's set this way, they should give us the option to change the defaults. If not in idrive, let them be programmable by the dealer...
Maybe they will solve this one day...
Ice -
it IS definitely a big. BMWNA has acknowledged that it is working on a fix, they are aware of the problem, and are trying to address it.
By design, this would be the very first car that programmed itself to put the radio on each and every time the car is started? I don't think that was intended!

For those with the CPT9000 phone, with 15.x, the radio no longer comes on when you end a phone call.
Yeah, sounds like they got together with Microsoft a bit too much. Radio always on is an added feature when you order the Navigation package....

I think there are other things that are "bigger". It's not bugging me at all. Anyways, it seems to work on cars w/o nav, so they will find a solution... somewhen...

Ice do You have any idea what is those MP3 tags in iDrive diagnostics? They have some preparations, why else there is 3 diagnostics points in iDrive.
I hope March will give us that what we like.
