March for non-Nav cars! Sweet. Now I need to figure out a way to get a software update without paying for it.

"all good stuff, but when will we be able to start our cars, and NOT have the radio come on every single stinken time?"

Wassy, that's another bug for you guys w/ Nav. In my non-Nav car if turned off, the radio stays off when the car is restarted.

You mean just because they make a habit of being happy, you're bequeathing your ride to them?

How did you get a USA BMW with Business Nav? Is that why you are so happy?

Right on! This has got to be the supidest thing of all time. If I turn my radio off I want it OFF when I turn my car back on. Why can't BMW fix this? I hope it's not a FEATURE or a bug in Windows CE - nice OS for iDrive

My stays off when turned off. Tried again last night as I had not done it since my software upgrade. Maybe I'm just ignorant about the type of computers used in these cars, but I'm amazed at the things that continue to be bugs in Nav equipped cars w/ the CCC computer that are not problems in the M-ASK computer used in my non-nav car. Is the coding so different between the two that these things can't be resolved in the CCC programming?

Another stupidest thing of all time?

I don't think it's a bug. I think it's set this way because most ppl want the radio on when they drive. But if it's set this way, they should give us the option to change the defaults. If not in idrive, let them be programmable by the dealer...
Maybe they will solve this one day...

It is solved in cars without navigation. Unless mine is the one with the "bug" that makes the radio stay off!
