I finally upgraded my software to CIP V19.23, and so far so good. Now with the new software the transmission is shifting gears much quicker, and the steering wheel feels much lighter. That's the only two things that so far I can notice. Hopefully I won't experience any problems with the new software.

Steering Wheel feels lighter?? Man, I like the way it is now, hopefully it won't get changed when I update up CIP one day...

My car was in for software update because of high battery drain. I

In reading around there appears to be a version 20.... that folks are talking about - is it here in the States yet? My car goes in tomorrow for patching to fix the transmission slamming and I'd hate to be on the cusp of getting the most recent version.

thanks

BMW are always fiddling with the active steering setup with every version it seems!

I like your avatar Berm. And, yes, other, including me, have noticed what you say. I have CIP 19.01.01. Oh, and if you can make your avatar do what the car below does, then that would be cool--well at least to me.

Thanks Znod, I wish my car was doing it that . Maybe when CIP 20 comes out my car will be able to do it and maybe it will sound like V12.

Does the software update change the AS???

If so, this is news to me (I do not have AS).
