So I took my 550 in last week because the magazine was stuck in the changer, and my complaint of the rough cold starts......
To my surprise they agreed to replace the cd changer, and do a software update.
With the software update......is there anything I should be aware of? Things I should ask them to do, or not do?
Thanks

Some people had bad experience from sw upgrading, but I am the happy customer. The sw upgrade gives the idrive new features, faster reactions and better bluetooth connection with my iphone (no drop connections). But it's still having hard time understanding "city" or "CD" during destination address entry using voice command.
good luck!

Got the software upgrade about a week ago because of my new transmission. I got about 2mpg more, no joke. And the rough stops where gone.

I want to update software on my 5er, but I really have no issues with the car, except for Comfort start sometimes not working.
What is the best way (most certain complaint that will get the job done) to have the software upgraded under warranty?
