Will the newest update enable my CD player to read MP3's? The service advisor said I should have it already. Also, will the screen have a NEW look? Thanks..........

The screen won't look any different but depending on your current software version, your service advisor may be correct when he claims you should already have it.

Have you followed the MP3 disc burning instructions that are posted in the FAQ forum?

But do you need to have navigation in order to to play mp3's or is the in dash good enough? I read a thread somewhere that says the in dash won't read mp3 with the new software if you don't have nav.

You don't need nav to play MP3s. The CD player is sufficient.

It's truly frustrating that I've burnt 20 CD's in every format imaginable. Using advise from this forum and others. I don't think the software update did anything for me. The advisor says he's gonna check AGAIN!!!!! I'm gonna try to get back there and find a vehicle that's setup already to insure that it's not my technique in burning the CD's. Troubleshooting the hard way.
