If you're looking for a great and honest guy, send member Healthservices a message. He's in Tustin, he knows his stuff and he does great work quickly. Trust me, he will take care of you

bimmershops.com might be of help to you. Lists shops in your area as well as comments and reviews.
The M Shop, Bimmer PHd, and DTM Auto Salon are just a few that are popular among BMW owners.

Friend of mine used these guys for his 3 series. He only had good things to say about them.

All German Auto in Escondido. I used them once to replace my transmission Mechatronics seal that started to leak about 6 months after I changed the trans fluid myself. There wasn't enough room between the tunnel and the trans for me to do it myself on my garage floor. They did a great job at a fair price, but insisted on replacing the pan/filter and fluid I had previously installed myself, so it cost me more than I expected. In spite of the additional cost, I do respect their wanting to be so careful. They claimed they had problems in the past replacing a previously used pan/filter. And, since the fluid change was done twice, it pretty much ensured I got a pretty high percentage of the old fluid replaced with new.
