Iceman, the US only gets two types of radio: regular (non Logic 7), and Premium Sound (which includes L7). Do you think US "Premium Sound" includes "Radio Pro" or does the US only get "radio pro" if you have navigation (with or without premium sound)? I saw that in Europe you can get Radio Pro as a standalone option withou navigation and without L7. Here is a link to BMW USA website that shows our options:

If you have nav (bus or pro) you have the radio pro.
So in the US, if you have nav, you have the radio pro, what can play MP3's after a software update in September.

.... hasn't ANYONE in the USA got 16.2 and tried to play an MP3 CD in the dashboard yet???.....

! i've been waiting for 16.2 and hoping the mp3 function work in my non nav and non logic 7 car. now all the wait is for nothing .
