Picked up my car from the train station parking lot last night and was greeted by a STEERING MALFUNCTION warning. Something along the lines of "stop vehicle, fluid leaking, danger" etc. I have noticed of late that I probably need at least passenger upper/lower control arms based on the sounds I've heard and my e39 experience with suspension failures.

So, is this warning related? Something bigger? Only one way to find out I guess... to the STEALER it goes. Please be covered by CPO (prays to the e60 gods).

Plan on checking it first thing when I get home (from work - ugh) today! Hopefully that's the easy squeezy culprit.
