My parents miscalculated the garage door and got me a nice 7 inch gash on my front bumper. Any idea on how much it would cost to repair. The paint is gone and you can feel the metal.

If its going to be more then $100 might as well get https://www.trinityautosport.com/mer...roducts_id=267.

Thanks.

EDIT1: Also got a low beam malfunction message. Right low beams are gone . Where can I get the correct bulb for the E60?

I don't know how to explain what I "feel". You know how the normal coat on the bumper feels waxy/plastic. The scratch feels all rough and like metal.

I will post pics tomorrow. But basically the plasticy/waxy feel is gone. Its a rough nasty looking/feeling scratch. How much does a average scratch cost to fix?

I would scrap all attempts at buffing out a bad scratch and make arrangements to get yourself a new M front bumper

BMW bumpers are made of PURE ABS plastic which is repairable. I know a place who can fix it for about $300-$400. Or invest in a new MTECH or M5 look bumper and paint the bumper for $200.

The bumper needs to be welded (yes plastic can be welded and I finally found someone with the expertise). Then a lil epoxy and ur set.

Do not get the blue colored bulbs for ur low beams. U need HID kits.
