Still have the E60 . But picked up a 2008 Acura TL almost loaded. Got a great deal. Ironically I got this at a BMW dealer. I was set on buying a 2007 328xi but we already have a E90 in the family and a base 3 series is just a status car...its slow...no options...blah!

So far I like the TL. The 3G TL was the best TL (I think) ever made. The new Acura are ugly looking with the stupid grills...look like buckteeth. The handling compared to other Japanese cars is superb. Almost has a BMW feel. Keyword being almost....I wish I had known about the terrible MPG...currently getting 16MPG. If I had I would have checked out the G37.

Few mods on the way. Aspec kit, CAI, stage 2 exhaust...tons of aftermarket support for this car. With a few mods I think it can look great. Another thing I wish is that I had looked for the TL Type S. Could have gotten a nice TL Type S for just a bit more. The Type S has a 3.5 V6 engine.

Simple mods I am planning to do in a few weeks will make this car FAST!

Here is how it will sit in a few days .

Congrats. Your first mod should be wheels.

Congrats! I used to own a TL back in the 90's but they had issues with the reliability of the transmission. I hope that the new generation has this resolved.

Must be nice!

Don't they make a supercharger for the TLs?

Congrats on the new (to you) car. Yeah, I agree that was the last attractive Acura, the new ones look like shit. One of my favorite cars I've ever owned was an Acura, 1993 Legend coupe, loved that car. Can't believe it's been 16 years since I sold it.
