Bad news... I put my snows on so I'm ready for winter, can't enjoy my "ultimate driving machine" as much with snow tires on
Good news... The snows remind me how much power my car has, anything more than 1/4 throttle lights up the snows
When I'm ready for new snow tires I am going to melt these suckers...

My Ride: 2007 Mercedes CLS63 AMG
Designo Graphite with white leather interior
Keyless Go, Heated/Ventilated seats, Parktronic
I put my Michelin Pilot Alpin's on the other day as well. We've been rather lucky with very little snow so far, but the temps have just now gotten into the mid 20's consistently so the snows are a safe bet. I only have about 50% tread left on these, so hopefully I can safely make it through this winter.

put my dunlop wintersports m3 on yesterday, good timing, here in new york we got a decent amount of snow. they're 17inch on Borbet type TS rims, all done on tire rack, smooth transaction, and they look pretty good dont you think?

I had Borbets as my winter rims on my 540 and Infiniti M. I had significant bending problems with them -- basically after every winter at leaat 2 (and usually all of them) were bent. Thankfully, because they were inexpensive, it was cheaper to replace them than repair them. I am hoping for good results from the 123s I have on for my winter set. I had a terrific result from the set of O.Z. Racing wheels that I had on my Infiniti after I ditched the Borbets but the O.Z.s did not fit the bolt pattern of the E60.

i am concerned about bending with the Borbets, they are cheap for a reason. but i couldnt find anything else comprable that looked as nice. again, im not looking to turn heads with the winter pack, but i dont want something really ugly. how did they bend?
Eventually, I got so sick of replacing them after every season that I went upmarket on my winter wheels and got the OZ's.

Did my SP 3D's yesterday just to discover that my OEM rear Conti's are practically bald! Only 7-8K miles!
