I know this topic has been discussed over and over again, but for some reason I cannot come to a clear decision. I have an alpine white E60. To be honest, the clear looks better to me. Yet everyone seems to prefer the smoked. I will be looking for white leds, so the ones from trinity are not an option. Clear just looks cleaner to me, yet smoked looks sportier.

What do you guys think, for an AW. Thanks for any input.

if you not going to smoke the front or rear lights then I would leave it clear.
I have smoked my lights and looking good.
I think smoking the light only looks good on dark colour cars

i say stay clear.. if yo9u go smoked and the rest of your car doesnt have that look, i think its going to look stupid.. mine is alpine white and the simpler you leep it the better it looks..

Sorry I'm a little late to the party, I just went through this on my AW and I've gotta say - clear looks better. I've actually purchased both - a set of OEM LCI markers and a set of aftermarket smoked markers - aside from really bad quality of the aftermarket markers, I must say I like the clear look MUCH MUCH better

just adding my .02 cents

BTW there is not need to buy the smoke light.
Just use Tamiya Color Spray Paint, there is a can which is smoke black for clear plastic and it is very easy to take off when selling the car.
this is what I use

I don't have a white car but i just put the smoked ones on and they they looked good on a dark car. I would stay clear for white though.
