I had my smg hydraulic pump and the smg relay replace 3 months ago and my question is did the dealer take the trany out to do that couse now i have a oil leak in the rear engine crank, and when the car gets worm the hydraulic pump makes noise evry couple seconds non stop

 

From what i know the trany its conected to the rear engine crank

 

I'm pretty sure the tranny does not have to come out.

Sounds pretty straight forward.


But to fix the rear seal the tranny does need to come out. Which at that time you should replace your clutch also.

 

oky he dealer got the car the pump is shot agin, and they going to take the tranny out but the said they not gooing to cover the seal couse the fly wheel has to come out, and thhey had nothing to do whith the fly wheel and the seal is right behind it. I keep you uptade it

 

soo it was the clutch actuator
