SMG faulty
Hi everyone!
Going around the city (luckly I wasn't on the freeway), at 4 km from my house a message popped up: "Drive slowly and call the nearest BMW dealer, as the car won't turn on again once stopped" : WOW!
Changed my way and back home immediately. During the way home, the gearbox worked for 10 minutes, then I found a redlight and I had to stop. From that moment, the car was stuck in 1st and had to come back home in 1st.
Open the door while parking and the trans switched to N, luckly. I'll toe her to the shop on Monday, as I can't go to the dealer ("Yes, whole transmission, EUR 6000 + VAT + LABOUR").
It's not the first time I got stuck in street: in the past I had a pipe disconnected from the pump, the oil came out and ... Stuck. But stuck IMMEDIATELY, not still working for 10 minutes.
So in my opinion is the pump this time, that was replaced in 2009 with the actuator (the actuator was faulty and I ask them to replace the pump also).
I have the old pump in my garage, so the first step will be put the old one on and check if it works. Then order a new pump from BMW.
Any opinion or similar case happened?
Thanks!
EDIT:
108k km, 65k mil. Replaced the first pump at 57k km/35k mi. No good though.

Replaced the SMG relay, reset by INPA and now same behaviour (stuck in N) but just 1 error, SMG Pump. Pump relay error disappeared. I'm going to replace the pump (with an old one, replaced years ago but still working at that time) today or tomorrow.
Does anybody know how many liter of Pentosin the hydraulic unit needs ?
