With colder weather arriving and the use of the cold weather package, I discovered that the car will remember after a short shutdown if the heated seat or steering wheel were previously on. If the car has been off for several hours, the switches are set back to off.

I really like how quickly these seats heat up. The quickest I've experienced with several different makes.

Several of the options are "smart".

That is a nice little feature.

It was noticed and talked about briefly in this thread.

After some additional testing, I think the car remembers the settings until it goes to sleep...

That makes sense. I do not know what version of the software I have. The car is an early July build. 12.x, I suppose, but definitely pre-13.

Mine is version 12.2 so you're probably on something similiar.

I wonder if it worked in any flavor of version 11? Not that it matters too much but I'm sure someone will confirm this feature on a car with 11.x.

Now that it's cold here, I really appreciate that it remembers.

That is a great feature, seats and wheel heater settings stay on if you are just 'dropping by'. I think the time is 10 or 15 minutes.
