OK, so im cruising around in bimmer and out of boredom, i start thinking. i had my rear sun shade up(the back winshiled, dunno what they call it), and all my windows down and i noticed that i was going about 80 miles and when i looked at the my mirror, i noticed the sun shade was SHIVERING, due to the wind blowing on it. so i go scared it would rip

Is it possible for it to rip at high speeds if windows down? and due to the mechanism resisting the wind force acting on it, it may get damaged one day since they are weak ( yes im an Engineering major).

I don't think there would be enough excursion of the sunshade to stress the seams of the sunshade. How much space is there between the sunshade and window?
