I was wondering if anybody knows how best to fix a small hole in the leather lining of the passenger side door.

When exiting the car, one of my passengers neglected to ensure that the seatbelt had retracted all the way. It turned out that it wasn't and he slammed the door shut. The door didn't shut and bounced back open. The seatbelt buckle was stuck between the door and the B-pillar and punched a small hole in the door lining. I think the lining is leather, but it could be plastic, too. The hole is right at the end of the armrest and in the closed position you can't even see it. When you open the door you notice a small hole.

Does anybody know if there is some easy way to fix this. Fill the hole with some sort of leather bonding material??

I have the beige leather interior.

I'm afraid that the best thing to do is to replace the whole door lining affected.

It shouldn't cost that much
