My Ride: 2007 530i Alpine White with Navi and Premium PackageIn progress: OEM Mtech kit, H&R Sport Springs, and 19
1. My voice command takes a while to respond, it often seems as if it is quicker/easier to just change setting manually.
2. When I start driving my car it takes a while before the idrive will respond?
Anyone with the same issues and recommendations????
Thanks guys

I agree with the voice command statement. Sometimes depending on where the iDrive screen is or what you are trying to do it is easier to just make manual changes.
It helps if you learn the voice command language since you can say chain commands (e.g.- Navigation, Drv Asst Window, Map Facing North) without waiting for each single command to execute.
This is my first car I've owned w/voice recognition so I can't say there is something else out there that's better.
Other than the initial iDrive boot when I start the car I haven't noticed any response delays.

speaking of voice command, can anyone help to get TOWN/CITY to work easily?
Everytime I said TOWN, it takes me to TONE and everything I said CITY, it takes me to CD . Is there any work around?
Also, to spell the street name, is it an option that you need to fail 5 times to get to? does it has a command to let me spell it right away?
