I just had the sleeve, gasket and fluid replaced. The pan/filter was re-used.

I just did the whole job. It was $320 for 8 liters of the ZF fluid, new pan, gasket, plug and mechatronics sleeve shipped from California Trans Supply. My mechanic took 4 hours to do it and a transfer case fluid change and had no problems using the procedure from CFTC and charged me $280.

All in all $600 for new sleeve, pan, gasket and plugs. I am very happy and the trans seems to be running smooth as ever at 114,000 miles

One note, he needed just under 6 liters of fluid. I bought more just in case.

Here is all the parts I am spending on to do the oil pan and other maintenance work. Labor is going to cost me about $450 to do everything from an indi certified mechanic who works for BMW. There are 2 oil leaks, one at the oil filter housing on the left side of the engine block & one at the transmission mechatronics sealing sleeve. The stealers wanted about $2300 to do the job.
