How is an early build 2004 car so problematic. E60s came out back in mid 2003, so they will have teething problems but a 2004? That's strange.

mine was built in dec 03 and the only problem i have so far is the restraint systems which many apparantly have had so far...

Yes... our car is a 2004 MY. It was built in mid-2003. We took delivery of it in 2003. It breaks. Constantly.

No, the car breaks constantly. The armrest is fine. It is one of the few functioning pieces of equipment on the vehicle. ...and just watch... it will break on the way home.

Around here you have to pay around 85 EUR and it's a BMW option(?!).
It's not like the other options, don't know why.... but it's different in the invoice.

I have it in my car and use it daily, i have a six speed and when you shift while resting your arm the rest moves so you dont have to lift your arm thru the shifter throws. I think that is why it was made atleast it works for me.
