Slidey arm rest things
Hi everyone,
I just noticed that the smaller of the two plastic parts of the armrest, on the right in my UK-spec car, actually slides forward a couple of inches. I cannot work out why as there is no storage under it (unlike it's bigger brother on the left) and just a little "no entry" type sticker.
Surely it's too thin to be classed as a "sliding armrest"?
What is it for do you think?

Yes, it is in fact a sliding armrest that allows you to adjust it to meet your arm more comfortably.

Yes, and on the E90 if you choose the sliding armrest you get this one with the small piece that moves, if you dont its all one solid piece

Its included with Bluetooth. and standard on the more expensive models.
I like the naff way the handbrake half closes it when applied
Personally I would prefer it as a secondary hinged lid covering a coin storage or state of the art folding cup holder (don't go there with cupholder thing)
