As a courtesy, because of my past problems ( see here? http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=5197&hl= ) the dealer was going to come get my car and leave me a loaner.

Everything (software update to 13.3, BT activation and Sirius install) was to be completed and the car returned to me tonight, but it never got off the ground.? They were supposed to show up first thing in the AM, but he didn't actually show up until 11:00.? At that point the service dept. said they couldn't finish the car in one day and they are to be closed the next two days for the holiday - we would have to reschedule.

It's so frustrating.

Do you have sat radio prep?

I too have a March 04 build. At the time Sat Prep and Nav could not be combined. So you're sure you've got both??

Yes, please clarify. It's been a while since I checked in. Hello to a few old friends. I've got a 4/'04 build w/ Nav and thus w/o Sirius prewire. I'm interested. Is it possible yet? I'm still chatching up on posts so I'm sorry if this has been discussed/announced. Thanks.

I think I just found the thread. Still looks like a no-go for 4/'04 build with Nav...

I can't vouch for the source and I know that I'll catch shit for looking at RF, but this guy claims to have had Sirius installed on his March 04 545 w/ NAV. Let's keep those fingers crossed...

hey, this is cool. I may try to contact that dealer to ask them exactly how they did it. I found out from my dealer that the techs at my dealership don't like to contact other dealers since it might hurt their ego. I guess I should just do it myself.

I'll get back with more info when I learn more about this one.

I will let you know. Since I've had so many problems with my dealer I am going to try the service department at another dealer. I'll start a new thread when I have something to report. Cross your fingers for me.

Nick, which dealer are you planning on trying? Tate is probably your next closest, followed by Arlington. God forbid that you have to cross the Potomac. If you try Tischer, let me know how they treat you, so I know what I have to look forward to.

I am sure that you have already seen this post, but if not, take a look.

Joe,

You are right, Tate is the next closest and I have been there twice before for service, both times were perfect. That is where I am going to try next for the Sirius install. I am never going back to Passport again if I can help it.

Thanks for the link to the post, that is great news. Over-the-air radio around here is lame, can't wait to get Sirius.

Nick
