Bruce - did you ever get an answer to this? My post here on e60.net seems to have been archived. I did do it - though not via BMW part number, but hand built harness with OEM BMW parts. I think you commented on it? Here is a link to Bimmerfest with the install and part numbers:

I have an extra harness, but promised it to someone who is deployed in Iraq, and due back in October.
Let me know if questions - based on what I have seen you do, this should be a simple exercise for someone with your skills.

I'm looking for the part no for the cable (that consists of the optic fiber cable and power connector) for the SIRIUS Sat radio prep or the DVD changer prep. This is the connect that is kept in the boot under the left wheel arch trim in case you want to connect these modules at a later date.
I'm pretty sure these cables are not included with the Sirius retrofit kit because that assumes you have the Prep Kit installed from the factory. But has another who has not had the Prep been able to install the Sirius module? Because then you will have had to install this long cable from the front of the car to the back.
