I only took delivery of my new E60 in May and since then I have been experiencing problems. I thought it was down to the car needing to be broken in but after taking it for a 600 mile spin and now having covered 2000 miles the problem is still there. I am getting an intermittant loss of power when I hit the stepdown. The last time being when I went to overtake an artic on a narrow irish road only to see another truck travelling for me at high speed.
I called my dealer and he said that I needed my software upgraded to "Singapore". anyone got any idea which software version this is?
Have to say my new car is a dog compared to my last 5 series which I am now sorry I got rid of

In Singaapaore, we are at CIP 17.1. This upgrade replaces 16.2 which have the annoying iDrive Warning Message (the one that warns that one shouldn't be using the iDrive while driving ... . and the crap) removed
The message was removed after a couple of us protested to our dealer.
Does Ireland's E60 comes with this annoying message?
