Silicon for roof spoiler?

Hi everyone. I don't post on here very often about my wife's E60 as I have been playing with my Jeep. I bought her a window/roof spoiler for x-mas and now I have found some time to paint it an install it. Could anyone tell me specifically what type of silicone adhesive to use for this? Is it a 3M product or other? I want to install it right the first time and not have to worry about it falling off. Thanks!
