Was at Vietnamese restaurant Pho Cao Dao on Mira Mesa Blvd and spotted this on the way out. Hmm... looks like the Nissan Skyline is making an early appearance. I had thought that the Skyline wouldn't be available until '08?

Yes, I know it's a rebadged Infiniti G35.

Why? In Japan that is exactly what the name of that model is. They are just removing what the American's like to see, a luxury badge. Also, 9 times out of 10, their just trying to stick out.

Yeah, but the current Nissan Skyline in Japan does not carry the same lineage as the previous Skylines. It's not the same car. The 2008 Skyline GT-R is the real deal.

Yeah, same car, different name. Japanese skyline = north american g35.

It's nothing like putting a M badge on a non-M bmw.

Last weekend on hollywood blvd, I saw a TiAg e60 with a complete ACS bodykit. It also had big rims, probably 21s. I see e60s all the time, but this particular stood out.

What a coincidence. I saw a silver G35 a few weeks ago with the exact same badging; Skyline in the middle and 350GT on the upper right.
