I am getting this meesage :
"anti trap function inactive"
How can I active the anti trap function ?

Welcome pleasure - actually that sounds pretty good, pleasure is always welcome.

I think you have to take it in for service. Could be software or could be hardware but not fixable by yourself.

yaeh have to tak it in i had the samething happen when ice was on the window and it hung up. I thnik we should be able to reset some things ourselves or it will get pretty expensive after the wareenty runs out we need to find away of reseting this if nothing else. I forgot to ask my SA how can i do it on my own maybe you can ask?

Got in my car this morning and the fault has disappeared...reckon I had it for about three weeks. Hope this isn't tempting fate!

THere has been a recent hit if the anti-trap function problem. I took my car in a couple of weeks ago and luckily for mine it was just a reset but for others they had to have some module replaced.

i just got that message tonight and when it was on the screen or under check control messages the auto function of my right rear window ceased functioning but then the message went away later and now its fine

I had something like that once, I was told by the dealership to "reset" the AntiTrap by individually moving all windows fully down and the then fully up. I was sceptical about this working but it did remove the error and hasn't come back again!
