Side mirrors when in reverse question.
#1
So when I put my car in reverse, my mirrors automatically go down. I assume to help me back out, but I find that they go way too down. I actually have to hunch down to see through them. Is there a way to adjust this setting?

cannot adjust the setting..
but you can disable the function by moving the mirror control/knob on the driver side panel to the opposite one it is set to now (cannot recall if it's driver or passenger side position which disables the function), then set the other memory set button to the desired mirror position, that way when you put it in reverse, you can just move the mirror via the memory button

Yes, when the mirror selector is set to the passenger mirror, it will not automatically lower. Another great idea I picked up from my old e39 5 series, was program the 2nd seat memory button with the same settings as your seat, but lower the mirrors to where you would like them when backing out. Then just press that button. Also comes in really handy when you get tailgated by large trucks with their headlights right in your sideview mirrors.
