Do you American E60 friends have any pictures of your front and rear side lights?

In Europe they probably are different. The front has angel eyes and side diods but how about the rear.
Both the front and rear lamps seems to have blind areas.

Thanks,
Riku

I understand what ricracing means.

He means rear sidelights. See the picture of the supra to see seperate sidelights.

Mercedes and Volvo merge these seperate lights in the taillights of the car. Thus creating a sidelight in the rearlight cluster at the side.

European cars don't have these rear sidelights.

(P.s: How do you like my artwork on the cars??? )

Ok, I will be the first. No rear sideLIGHTS. It looks just like the image, however there are no bulbs in that rear section. It is more of a reflector.

Thanks for the info. I really do not understand why BMW doesn't use the empty space in rear light section as a side light. It would look really nice.

But in front I suspect there is a differance between US and EU cars. There is a similar reflector type area under the side led lighs. (See 530E60NL:s identification picture ). In my car this area is also a reflector type and does not have a light.
Does this section work as a side light or an turnlight in the US?
