My Ride: 2004 BMW 545i Titanium Silver
Hi, all!
Can somebody with access to SIB details send me SIB 11 09 05 (Non-return Valve Parts Found In Oil Filter During Engine Oil Service). I was changing oil yesterday on my wifes X5 (engine N62 same as on my 545) and two parts fell out of the oil filter housing. Called mechanic and he said he has seen that happening and car is drivable. I would like to know what exactly BMW recommends to do in this case. Thanks in advance

You're welcome. How big are those parts actually? I assume they fit through the oil drain plug right for you to see them...
