I drove a few E60 loaners with Nav and noticed that there was an option (after manual tune, auto tune etc.) on the radio to show all available radio stations. It brought up a screen and using RDS identified all of the receivable stations at your current location.
This is a very useful feature if you travel away from home.
My E60 without Nav does not have this feature. Why would the feature be Nav dependent or is it just that the Nav equipped cars use a different radio?

Thanks for the input.
It must be the standard vs the professional radio that comes with nav, however besides this list all stations feature I did not notice any other difference.

The pro radio has a second tuner that scans all frequencys. That's why the pro radio can show all stations and the bus radio can't.
