Should I Trust A $50 BMW Diagnostics Software?
I have seen online and especially eBay that they have the dealer inpa, tis, navcoder, dis software and cable for only like $50.
What's up with that as that seems too good to be true?
Should I trust that software or buyer beware?
Has anyone here ever bought and / or used it before?

Depends on what it is, a link would help. I have purchased what i think is the same as you're talking about. From BMTechnic. At about that price, very pleased with it.

It was a general statement not relating to one specific item.
I did check out the BMTechnic and it looks promising but I need to convert it to dollars to find out the price. I don't want to buy it not knowing the exact price because PayPal is showing it in pounds and not converting it. I'll just find a currency converter online.

This is what I use and it diagnoses pretty much everything, even telling you the codes that previously appeared and were erased. I use it with my android phone.

Got mine from diy_bmw_garage on eBay for $29.99. Awesome seller, even helped me install the software remotely when I ran into a minor snag. Everything works as expected.

ha! try using those cable flashing some modules in your car for like 8 hours....be prepared to fork over the money for new modules. You get what you pay for. I learned the hard way.
