I have seen a few SRT's beat the Porsche....usually a drivers race. However, I would rather mod my SRT than a porsche any day ($$$). With some agressive cams, and a tune, not may cars are gonna keep up with me.

I've been thinking of parting with my beloved vehicle the last couple weeks. Only way that I would sell it is if I would be able to get around 29K for it as it would make my next purchase decision a lot easier. What you think, doable? If not, I might part it out and see what a bone stock, well optioned car might get.

Sounds like a really good deal! I was very close to buying a bone stock 06 550i for 38,000 in Canada. It had about 80,000 Kilometers ( the conversion is about 60,000miles) If I had met you earlier I would have bought yours! Looks sweet!

it does look good. i didn't read this thoroughly, but if you look into buying your "next" car at a bmw dealership, you might get the best deal from a trade-in. also, if you go that route, definitely de-modify if. private sale--eh, it's not a great market out there for used cars via private sale these days.
on another note, nobody is going to pay you 4k more for the mods, they'll tell you to take them off or they'll negotiate you down to 27.5-28k, so i wouldn't advertise it that way.
