I am very attached to my car. I wouldnt wanna sell it but only if the price is right. Probably lowest is $30K I would sell it and drive my beater until the F10 comes out.

It's LCI because I retrofitted the headlights and taillights the BMW retrofit way. Programming etc.

Mike, I'll remember you if I ever sell it.

I would never get a 550 SAT. Mebbe a 550 MT but there's not much different between the 545i and 550i. Yes the enginer is slightly more powerful but I actually pulled away from a 550i.

I'll probably keep this thing forever.

agreed with most people, the only way to get 35K is to part out first. Depends on the milage, but 545's are in 20k range right now.

person who want's to drop 35k would probably choose m5 instead of modded 545i

Yes, keep it! 545i is very fast, fun, joy, good looking, etc... I probably keep my 545i too for at least 2 or 3 more years.
yes, not much difference between 545i and 550i. both have same V8 engines but different bore and pistons that is all and only 35 hp more on 550i.

Keep it, especially as 30K is fairly unlikely! Besides which, you LOVE the car!!

I VOTED NO!!!!!!!!!!!

NO ONES GONNA PAY YOU FOR THE TIME, EFFORT AND MONEY/MODS THAT YOU PUT INTO THIS CAR. IT IS UNIQUE TO YOUR TASTE, WHILE SOME PEOPLE WILL PAY MORE THAN WOULD ON AVERAGE FOR YOU CAR OVER ANOTHER 05 545, NO ONE WILL PAY WHAT ITS WORTH TO YOU IN YOUR HEART. UNLESS YOU FIND A SUCKER!

I SOLD ME 05 545 FOR $13.5 WITH 120,000 MILES ON, HAD A MEISTERCHAFT AXEL BACK, pc'D RIMS.. PEOPLE DONT WANT TO PAY ANYMORE. YOU CAN GET AN M5 FOR 35K

I say it never hurts to try. I mean, craigslist is free after-all. See what offers roll in if you're curious. But from my experience, even with unique and sought after color combinations and mods, the "suckers" out there that we all hope to find when we sell our cars rarely, if ever, exist. I always look at the market value for our car stock, add $0 for my mods, and subtract about 5-10% and that's usually the number I actually sell my car for.

You definitely have a unique 545i and I would recommend keeping it since you put so much time, effort, and love into it. If you want an M5 and have the budget for it, then sell your 545i for a reasonable price and have at the M5.

I hate to say it, but there is no way you'll get $35k for it or even $30k for it...I've had my car up for sale now for a couple of months and nothing....I started at $27 and now I'm down to $23.5 for it....My car is 05 545i with 44k miles and cpo....The only calls I'm even getting now are super low ball offers in the range of 19-20k....Nobody will look at the mods you have and be willing to pay the money...Thats exactly why I parted out my car....I had at least 15k in mods, so the only way to regain some money was to part it out, which was a pain in the a$$!!!If your happy with it, just keep it....This economy is not very friendly with people selling stuff....Everyone is out for a deal and all most nobody has any money to spend....There are two types of people right now(IMHO)....One person has money and will try to low ball you because he thinks you're hurting for money...The other is hurting for money and will lowball you because thats all he's got!!
