The only thing that has me considering buying it is I only drive at most 3000 miles a year. But still I am very nervous to buy it cause the high mileage ... I would dread having no peace of mind driving the car but then again my friend bought a 90k mile 04 545i from a Mercedes dealership and paid FULL price and in the 1st month it fell apart but then I know people who have them with over 100k and still going strong I just feel like anything over 100k miles is a gamble no matter what and even if I save up 12000 for one with 100k miles it could fall apart just as easily idk though I've never had one but I REALLY want one lol I just can't stand driving my car it's so basic and boring

LOL, be patient. It's not worth buying a car with almost 200k on the clock just so you can say you have a BMW. It could be the absolute worst vehicle purchase you could make. Your time will come.

It's really more for my comfort cause as is I have a 5.9 liter v8 that's faster than the bmw I want and is a head turner already it's not to impress it would be nice to have modern things like a.c. Maybe seats that move lol idk I might just end up waiting honestly if this car doesn't check out cause I've read many people say stuff like ya your getting the car for under 10k but really after repairs it's more like 20k but I'm not sure still I have an extra 400-500 to blow each month if I find I'm spending more than 250 a month on repairs ill sell it ASAP

these cars can eat your lunch we traded for nice 7 series with 140 k and check engine light.. we send it to bmw to code the light it took a few days to diagnose but it turned out to be the channels in the heads for erg were gummed up with so much carbon the sensors could not get a reading

Solution remove heads and clean out the channels estimate at dealer to dealer cost 8 grand ....
Unless this mechanic is utterly amazed at how nice of shape this 530 is in mechanically id stay away

Yes that fix you paid for alone is more than I'm paying for the car which is insane I really want an e60 but do not want to finance one due to the insurance rate being around 250$ a month idk I guess I really wish I could get some incredible deal but all the bmws I find being sold are always very suspicious looking

if this was directed at me we wholesaled the car which is what we do with probably 90 % of high mile euro cars audi vw mercedes jag rangerover bmw saab etc .. 9 out of ten times they just cost way to much and or more than they are even worth to fix.

So if you ever wondered how slappy jacks used car emporium gets their cars...thats how buyer beware!

edit: when i say high mile im talking 100k mi plus cars
