Nobody that I know of has ever posted "I wish I saved the 5k and got the 528 instead of my 535". However if you get the 528 there is a good chance that you will post "Big mistake, I wish I got the 535" Is it really worth 5k to lament your purchase and eat your heart out?????

I totally agree. The 528 is a dog in comparison, you will be kicking yourself. Unless your wife is going to be the primary driver and you never set foot in the car.

If you are going to spend any amount of time driving it, then 535 all the way.

My wife is the primary driver in our 535xi at first she thought the 528XI was good enough till she tested the twin turbo. NO REGRETS!!!!!

Just take both cars out for a test drive and I think you will sell yourself.

I pissed away 10k on my 535i.....I wish I would have gotten the slower 528i instead.

It just makes so much more sense to buy the 528 !!

Would anyone else like a hit off the crack pipe I'm smoking?
PM and we can snort a couple of lines of meth as well !!

My vote is for the 535/N54/TT engine...and no need for a turbo timer....IMO: the "extra weight" from the front mounted turbo is non existent
