Hallo!

I have noticed for a while that my car chose a very low gear when I turn in a corner, and after that it takes a while before it shifts up. Do someone else have this "problem"? My opinion is that the car chose one gear to low! New software?

Let us know what ride & engine you have Joacim - your avatar implies you have a 6er?? Also if you're using D or DS mode.
That should help you get some relevant/quality responses.

(BTW - not really the right section for this question, but no worries, I'm sure the MODS will move to the appropriate section - give us those details... )

Hi. This is not a problem. it is normal. The BMW Gearbox stays in 'low' gear when taking a corner. If it turns out to be a long corner, the gearbox will try and stay in the same gear as long as possible. This is especially true when u accelerate thru the corner. I think its a safety thing.

I drive, for example in 70-80 km/h, and turn into a smaller way, and this is when it happens. My opinion is that the gearbox, in this situation, shift to a to low gear, and stays there till around 3000 rpm, and then it shift up to next gear. I do not accelerate fast....Hard to explain....
