Does anyone know why the front end on a 08 535i with stock rotors/pads would shake noticably when braking very fast or rapidly? I had my rotors and front end suspension inspected with no findings. Any ideas?

I'd say they missed something... I would start with the rotors and see if they are running true. Could be that they are only off a little and not really noticeable when stopping normal and then when you get on them, then maybe they are exaggerated. My truck did something similar to this. Other things could be bushing and shocks.

Bad pads and or rotors are your first to review again. Ball joints and A arm bushings may be worn or cracked and
under the presure of severe braking and weight transfer move and cause simliar results

My other car is an Infinity G37 and I experienced the same problem braking from 70 Mph. The problem originated from the rotors. I had them turned and problem solved.
