Hi I have a 525xi e60 with 180xxx on it. I first get in the car I get a very mild car shake. The warmer the car gets the worse it gets. When hot the entire car shakes violently(not the steering wheel). Mostly on acceleration some deceleration. When cruising nothing. Plus a lot of noise (clunking) seems to be on the passenger side of car. (No loss of performance). CHECKED: front drive shaft, cv joints, bushings, rear drive shaft everything looks good. Please I'm at a loss. Thank you for any suggestions.

During acceleration? Are you sure it's not something going to with the engine. Usually you feel vibration with deceleration when it's suspension, steering, rotors or brakes. Replace your tie rods and report back

I have a 2008 528xi... and I experienced a slight vibration while accelerating. I had my transmission fluid and transfer case fluid changed and it went away. Might want to check that. Last time those fluids and filter was changed was about 80,000 miles ago.

I don't think the problem is being explained well or it's two issues you are trying to solve. is it the engine, trans or something suspension area.
