As I have already ordered the M166's I have a chance of also ordering new window frames in shadowline for a reasonable price.

The big question is if I can replace them myself or if it's gonna cost me to have i done by a bodyshop?

I have to decide until Friday!

99% of people don't notice that detail. Only E60 owners can spot it, but not all. Why waste money? Unless it's free.

A black E60 with chrome window frames looks very, very good.

Do you have chrome kidenys as well?

A 530i 2/04 should not have, so buy them insted of the frames!

Together with the tinted windows I think that the shadow line looks extra good! It's only the question about spending yet more money on the car... it will definitively NOT raise the resale value!

lol good one^

IMO Cars never really look good with conflicting colors that dont complement.

The hartge bmw 3 has that two tone stuff going on on the side its faded so it looks good.

Anyways, get the shadowline trim it'll make your car look so much more bada$$.

When I get mine (in jet black hopefully), I'm going to have a shop put shiny jet black trim on all the regular plastic shadowline trim to make it flow better.

Btw doesnt your car have the sport package, if so it shouldve made it shadowline trim? I ask this because i see the sport 530 wheels in your sig.

No, it doesn't have the sport package. I've just ordered the M5 wheels. It was originally equipped with Starspoke 123.
