Hi !
I saw this product on E90post.com: http://bmwshadowline.com/
Have somebody tried it?
I've never liked our trim, and would like to retrofit shadowline. This product is cheap, and if I doesn't like it, I haven't wasted hundreds of dollars.
What do you think, is it easy to install, and would it look good on the E60?
Greetings from sunny Copenhagen.

Its a good start if you are tight on budget. But I've heard some members didn't like the result and ended up getting the real shadowline trims. So at the end, you might actually spend more than you should. Just a thought. Again, its your money. Good luck!

Its pretty good vinyl I have heard but it takes a lot of time to put on. I was going to do this a while back. You can get vinyl at any Tinting place though if you dont wanna order it. There was a member here who did it...I saw it and for the money it didnt look too bad. Some areas where noticable creases...matte black looks like black tape haha.

Welcome! Just got done buying and applying this exact product. By far, this is the most difficult material I have ever worked with. Yes, I did apply it...but I don't like it at all, and yes, I will be ordering the real ST next week. It was cheap enough to give it a try, but the extra time it takes to apply coupled with the difficulty of dealing with the material makes it worthless IMO. Very very time consuming and difficult. Good luck!

I'll consider it once again, and might end up ordering the OEM shadowline.

SOMEBODY around here (the name escapes me....seriously...Gene probably knows who) put this stuff on and got so frustrated with the whole process, angrily ripped it all back off and ordered the real shadowline trim!!
Just a little food for thought!
