Hey guys anybody know a spot in Sacramento Area that does the vinyl wrap shadow trim? I know http://ltbmw.com/services/ does it for $150 but they are located in So Cal. Seems like all the good shops that know how to mod E60s are always in So Cal!

I personally think it's just cheaper to go the OEM route, but that's just me plus it's a easy to install yourself.

I don't think OEM shadowline trim cost $1200 I don't know where your getting your quote from but DYAMMM! You can get a price quote from Tischer BMW or Newport BMW and see. I purchased my from my dealer for $210 all the trim pieces and labor I did it myself which there is an DYI on the fourm.

Here in the UK, the OEM Highgloss Shadowline trim is around £900 (circa $1,463) from the stealers; and thats with a slight discount. I have been quoted upwards of £1,000, (circa $1,626), from some stealerships. And that does not include fitting!

It seems that in the UK we a BMW customers get shafted, slapped with a wet kipper, called Sally then bent over again. And that's all before we've reached the front door of the stealers!
