I didn't pay the extra ?750 for the service package and by the time I trade my current E60 I will have covered 20k miles. Service wise I will have only had the one done at around 16k costing ?190. I don't believe I have been penalised on my trade in price for the car because I'm sure every used E60 comes with the service package included. I personally believe it wasn't worth the money in my case but some of the higher milers may think differently. Anyone care to comment?

Just past 1 year old, was serviced at 18,500 few months back, now at 20,500.
Will be keeping car 4 years so based on my last car 328ci I think the service package is a no brainer.
Going by service intervals BMW are making sure that the 60k service will land about 64-70k miles so won't be inclued.
So your really paying the cost of 1 major service and 2 intermediate service plus you get free disks/pads.
They still got their pound of flesh cause I got aux in fitted while it was in for service
