Question

Hi to all,

I need to vent...

Got the "Increased Emissions" message yesterday, called the dealership and took the car this morning. Got a phone call from SA around 4pm "your car is ready". Great! Drove 38 miles to the dealership, picked up the car, drove to my Starbucks (it's a daily thing...), had my coffee and drove back home as I pulled in front of my house, I got the same message again! WTF! What are the odds to be something else not realted to what apparently they fixed today???

BTW, they replaced one air hose, which had a leak...

UGH!!!

Idiots! Go to your local autozone and have them hook up a OBDII scanner. They do it for free

Check the code to see what's up.

As incompetent as many of the service people are, I doubt that they misdiagnosed the first error...Kinda hard to mess up hooking the scanner to the obd.

They obviously only found one cause of the problem... I'll laugh my ass off if it's the thermo and they didn't catch it.
