Very Nice!

I would keep it. My E60 is my first BMW but lately I have been starting to look at older BMWs as well.

The most important factor in keeping a 10 year car looking this good - it was always garaged and never parked on the street, and when it was parked in an outdoor lot I always used a sunshade for the windshield-I never used any fancy leather conditioners-only miminally did use a mild leather soap and water to clean the seats - I also had canvas covers for the front seats when going mountain biking or whenever I planned on returning to the car sweaty and disgusting...

I also went with black mats in the truffle interior that contrasted nicely and never looked dirty -

Unfortunately I have decided to sell the car due to limited garage space to another Bimmer enthusiast - he's giving me several thousand more than blue book.

I will wish my E34 well, I can feel the tears welling up now...

I hope the E60 (with 37 less bhp and 80 less lb/ft) 530xi doesn't disappoint me.........

You're going to get a BIG jump in the handling department with your switchover. BMW made great strides with the E34's first successor, the E39, I mean BIG improvements in suspension design. The E60 takes it further, particularly by offering rack and pinion steering with all models including the V8.

The only real decision is whether or not to get active steering, since this item will affect the road feel of the car. Everyhing else is superfluous.

I need some feedback out there-I've decided to sell my beloved E34 1995 540isport, in immaculate condition with 93K, for 11K -

I put it for sale via CraigsList and within a day I had 3 offers - 11K is about 2500.00 more than the Edmunds estimate - am I selling it for too low?

I'm looking forward to my E60 but will it ever replace an analog classic bimmer that handles great and gets crappy mileage and has no Idrive?

It has a V8 with 282 hp and 300 lb/ft - the 530xi will be a step down in power but I'll get more low end torque with the 530 - I still like the look of the older Bimmers that not even Bangle himself could ever recreate...

Wow, that looks pretty clean. If you can find a way to keep the car, then I'd do that, but moving on and trying something new is always fun.

My first car was a e34 525i and I loved that thing. The e60 may have many advancements over the e34, but the e34 will still offer a more raw driving experience. I do enjoy the new designs, but the body shape of the e34 will always be a classic, which is something that the e39 and even the e60 may never be.
