Was driving away from the dealer in the borrowed Demo X3 and about a mile up the road, we saw a transporter with my new baby on board.....delivering it from the prep shop to the dealer......Unfortunately, I have a busy schedule this afternoon so we had to keep going but the suspense is killing me!......24 Hrs and 40 mins to go!!

ps...the X3 is bloody good....going to confirm my spec on monday as Mrs Petrol (nee Diesel) wants it!

Awww I remember the final days before taking delivery! Absolute hell! From fixing insurance issues to the final wait! Will it be delivered from the VPC today? Maybe tommorrow? Can the dealer prep it quickly! It's Friday now, I want to take delivery Saturday! LOL, in the end we have one happy camper here!

Good luck to ya!

Doctor: All all of your patients surviving this? Lets see... You're got an open beating heart under your scalpel, and, uh oh...you see a new post from Rudy out of the corner of your eye! Do you excuse yourself or continue with the operation? The only specialty where I think I would be able to maintain my concentration at this point would be Gynecology!

In the middle of a diabetic clinic at present, as I have the forum open in a window on my recently enlarged monitor, I can review patients and post away.........I don't usually read the forum when they are in my consulting room but I have been known to hit the F5 refresh button as they leave!!

Sure Sam, bring me into this mess! My luck someone will name me in a lawsuit against the Doc.

Oh wait, I forgot, the Doc isn't in the good old US of A!

DD: Type 1's or type 2's. Any chance for a discount on a pancreas transplant, in the office? Preferably after you've had your auto for a few weeks! Are you going to be ok waiting on the X3? Ever hear of transference? I.e. is Mrs. Petrol as anxious as you for the 530d? Once she saw what it was doing to you (I bet we here don't know everything!), she wanted in on the action, I bet.

DD,
Your experience reminds me of when I was waiting for my E46 320i SE 3 years ago. Had to wait for the new registration plate on 1st March. My car arrived 4 weeks early in the storage car park. Drop past every few days just to catch a glimpse of it. Sad I know. When I changed it to a 325i SE, it was the same but was in the car park for 3 days before I took delivery. No waiting for the registration change that time. Luckily :-)

Enjoy your E60 delivery tomorrow!!! Let us know how you get on.

Don't let a little rain spoil a great day.

Look at the bright side, some of us didn't get to test out the rain sensing wipers until some days later!

Have fun today -- we're all excited for you!
