My Ride: 545i Jet Black, Auburn Dakota, Sport Package, Logic 7, Red rear reflectors, K&N intake filter
Well, I had to turn in the 545 this week as I got a new car. Was aiming initially for 335 but then down to 328, but then we decided we should relocate to TX later this year so decided to save money and get me a Cooper S
So, still in the BMW family....kinda
cya around

Wow that has to hurt-no offense but I may face the same situation in a few years if I cant swing a payment on a new bimmer may have to move down to something less expensive but man sorry dude-I heard the mini coop (is it the turbo?) is a pretty fun car-drives like a little go cart-so always an upside-plus more important things in life than a silly car-like a fam and good health! Good luck with the move and hopefully see you back in a few!

So far I have to say it is a lot of fun.
The 2007 is actually mostly all new, just made to look the same -
Engine is VERY nice - new Peugeot 1.6 direct injection turbo (from new Peugeot 207 GTI)
If you watch the video you will HEAR the exhaust, nicely tuned.
Pulls a bit better than my old 2002 VW GTI but not run in yet.
Amazing agility
Very comfortable seats (Im 6'1")
Definitely notable quality interior akin to a BMW
The nice thing is that the great torque and lighter weight mean I don't lose too much passing ability, although ride comfort is not as good on freeways due to shorter wheelbase

My Ride: 545i SE Oct 03 (53 plate) 19" Alpina Classic rims
Cooper S is very nice, it will always seem quicker...which is a good thing.
Enjoy the new ride... Oh, it will go round corners like its on rails!
