the easier way to do and see if there is any different between 525, 530, and 545 is drive by your dealer, throw rocks to each model and hear the music .

weird i can get my 04 530i to panic , but when i tried the window donwn and the hand moving in it i get no response is this a software issue or a setting issue any ideas please thanks

How hard did you try? How much movement did you move around to try to trigger the alarm? Another thing you can do is reach inside and clap, that WILL trigger the alarm if it works... wonder why yours isn't that sensitive... Mines like "ok" sensitive... I've seens ones (on a 645 convert) where they are VERY sensitive... one finger inside the car and it goes off!

How long did you wait before moving your arms? The system attempts some sort of calibration before arming the interior sensor.
