Secret menu (again)

My Ride: Current - MY2008 530i comfort access,active steering, HUD, prof nav/TV, bluetootth etc .....
Old - 2006 530i comfort access, active steering, HUD, NAV/TV, Bluetooth
Yesterday, I received the latest (not sure which one) version of software for our cars and now the secret menu access does not work.
Does anyone know the new access method?

Are you sure it doesn't work? Just to be sure you're doing it right, take a look at the following document...

Pretty sure ..... did it last week before service to get details, but will follow instructions you posted and report back.

The instructions posted work. There is a new screen and set of menus, see photos below.
OK, so there has been a change in the instructions - hold down idrive button for 5 secs has changed to 15 secs.
So now what level of software has been installed? Anyone know how to read this?

ok guys im having trouble getting into my secret menu. my 530 '04 went trough a couple of updates, so when you guys say hold down at start menu for 15sec. it takes me to vechile check list like front, rear breakes, etc. but there are tabs and i can NOT rotate 3 clicks to the right or left. 
HELP ME. also i watched that video on how to do it, but that software looks old. thanks.

from start you mean that warning status? well ive done that and it still takes me to the vechile check list. but i will try again now if i hold it for 15 sec i will still be on the main idrive screen?
Perhaps your software version has a different procedure...
