Hi,

Can anyone tell me what this weired difference of surface is on the leg support area of the seat in the picture?... is is it active seat ventilation? If so how does that work then?

looks like that the seat come out, like a exstention maybe

He's talking about the SURFACE of the thigh support.

Don't know what this is. Looks like the center part of the thigh support is upholstered with different material.
Seat ventilation would be on the seat itself and possibly the backrest, not on the thigh support.

It looks like the Flashlight Cloth that's the standard material for upholstery but it's usually on the seat panel too.

Seat ventilation maybe.
when you were shorts and in summer it get very hot on leather so maybe they change it to this surface
